Documents, tapes and photographs relating to the Cold War and crime
The Lashmar Archive contains a unique collection of material available for hire.The principal subject areas are the Cold War and Serious Crime.

The Cold War archive contains public domain beta tape archives, pictures and documents of interest to researchers, particularly those interested in spy plane flights, the Cuban Missile Crisis, Berlin Airlift, General Curtis LeMay and the Korean War amongst other topics.

MI6/Foreign Office Cold War propaganda archive.
The archive of research into the the Information Research Department (IRD) is now held at my office at Brunel. It was compiled from 1972 onwards by researchers under the guidance of Richard Fletcher. The unique material was the basis for Britain's Secret Propaganda War (published 1998). It consists of some thirty lever arch files of material much of it unique.
The Serious Crime archive contains unique photographs and documents on organised crime in from the 1950s on. Subjests covered include the Flying Squad, SOCA, offshore crime, drug smuggling, gun crime, supergrasses and informers, gangs and gangsters, business fraud and armed robbery including Brinks Mat, Security Express, Bank of America and Baker Street robberies. The archive covers most of the key criminals and detectives from the 1950s to the present day. I also have material relating to the main corruption inquiries (Operation Countryman, the Lundy Affair etc) and controversies (The Stalker Affair).
There are also photographs of Paul Lashmar that may be used with permission for publicity puposes.
